Mixed Martial Arts (MMA)
Features: Striking, takedowns, grappling, ground and pound Mixed martial arts (commonly referred to as MMA) is a combat sport in which two competitors attempt to defeat each other by potentially utilizing a wide variety of fighting techniques, including striking and grappling. This program blends the key elements of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Wrestling, Muay Thai, Boxing and Conditioning. This is the program you’ve been looking for to take your combat sports training to another level. Don’t be fooled by the imitation programs out there, ATT has built a solid reputation for winning in the the worlds leading MMA shows including UFC, PRIDE, K-1, WEC, and EliteXC among others. This exclusive program is something that no other martial arts school can offer you.
Brazilian Jiu Jitsu
Features: Ground Fighting, Joint Locks, Chokes, Submissions
Brazilian Jiu-Jit is a martial art/combat sport that focuses on grappling and ground fighting. BJJ contains a variety of, chokes, joints locks and submission. You will learn how to effectively neutralize a sudden ground attack and gain an advantage through leverage and positioning. BJJ is trained with our without a gi.
New Executive Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Class for ages 30+
ATT Weston is excited to announce the start of our new Executive Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (no gi) class for ages 30+ starting this Friday at 7:30pm. The class will focus on leveraging and maximizing body positioning for escapes and submissions. Student will learn to spar cooperatively, rather than competitively (ie..tapping), unless by mutual agreement. The result is a very safe environment for all, regardless of age and physical conditioning. This would both cut down on injuries and facilitate learning. Technique, timing and sensitivity will be emphasis over just raw speed and power.
The class will begin with a light warm-up to get the body ready for the instructional portion, where participants will learn the technical aspect of BJJ, then followed with light sparring (rolling) supervised by the instructor.

Features: Hands/Kick Combos, Takedowns, Throws, Sweeps, Clinching Sanshou is a fighting discipline developed by the Chinese Military! It is composed of some aspects of traditional martial arts fighting styles in China, but mainly based on scientific one-to-one combat efficiency. Simlilar to Muay Thai and Kickboxing, however, Sanshou (also known as “Sanda”) incorporates grappling, throws and take downs. Sanda’s most distinguished techniques is arguably the “kick catch”, which involves the Sanshou practitioner catching his/her opponent’s leg in mid-air, and then sweeping him/her to the floor. Presently, Sanshou is taught at different Shaolin Temples in China and to the Chinese Army. Sanshou’s Arsenal of kicks, punches, and take downs are derived from the techniques taught in King Fu.
Features: Strikes with hands, kicks, elbows, knees, clinches Muay Thai is a devastating striking art that blends techniques such as; kicks, knees, elbows, punches, and clinch work. Muay Thai (also known as Thai Boxing) is a fighting art that originated in Thailand (formerly Siam) 2000 years ago. Often called the “Toughest ring sport in the world” it is known for its powerful techniques of punching (boxing), elbows, knees, and kicks. The Muay Thai practitioner must have superior speed and conditioning through hard training. This class will provide beginners with the tools they need for the ring even though they may never do compete and the complete conditioning of a fighter.
Features: A formula of competition and a general term describing the aspect of martial arts and combat sports that focus on clinch and ground fighting with the aim of obtaining a submission using submission holds. The sport of submission grappling brings together techniques from Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Freestyle Wrestling, and Judo. Submission fighting as an element of a larger sport setting is very common in mixed martial arts.
Known as “The Sweet Science”, is a combat sport where two participants, generally of similar weight, fight each other with their fists. Boxing is supervised by a referee and is typically engaged in during a series of one to three-minute intervals called rounds. Our boxing program will improve both your offensive and defensive punching skills through a series of drills. You will incorporate the heavy bag, speed bag, shadow boxing, and focus mitts to achieve these goals.
Military based hand-to-hand combat system developed in Israel. It is a simple, effective self defense system that emphasizes instinctive movements, practical techniques, and realistic training scenarios. Krav Maga generally assumes that the individual attacking will give no quarter; therefore, as a response the attacks and defenses are intended only for use in potentially lethal threat situations with the aim to neutralize and escape as rapidly and safely as possible.
Features: Freestyle wrestling is a style of amateur wrestling that is practiced throughout the world. Freestyle wrestling has its greatest origins in catch-as-catch-can wrestling and the ultimate goal is to pin your opponent to the mat, which results in an immediate win. Freestyle allows the use of the wrestler’s or his opponent’s legs in offense and defense. It consists of clinching, holding, locking, leverage, and takedowns. Wrestling is essential to MMA training. Many top UFC fighters came from a wrestling background.
Kickboxing For Men & Women of all ages!
(No experience necessary) American Top Team’s KICKBOXING Program combines Kickboxing, Muay Thai, Sanshou and Boxing into one of the best workouts we have to offer. We teach real Kickboxing skills with effective techniques, and combinations along with focus mitts and heavy bag drills. We pack real self-defense skills into the most exciting, rewarding, and beneficial workout of your life, taught by professional instructors and fighters. Q: Do I have to be in shape to participate?
A: No, this is why you are joining our program so we can help you achieve your fitness goals. Our classes are designed so that beginners can set their own individual pace, and progressively increase at your own level of intensity.
Q: What makes your kickboxing program different from other health clubs or fitness facilities?
A: Our Kickboxing classes are taught by professional martial artists. We teach with precise detail and you will learn real Kickboxing techniques and practical self defense. Our Instructors are there to guide and motivate you, making sure you are perfecting your skills. After a few classes, you will understand why no other program can match what we offer.
Q: Is there any contact in your Kickboxing classes?
A: There is no contact in our Kickboxing class. You will learn practical skills and get in the best shape of your life. You will never participate in any sparring activity in our Kickboxing class. Sparring and Full Contact training is available with our other programs.
Q: Am I too old to start kickboxing?
A: The age range for our Kickboxing class is 15 years old to students in their 60’s. If you are able to play a recreational sport, go for a jog or swim then you should be fine to start up Kickboxing.
